Logresult consist of 3 modules that
support your operational excellence

1. Weekly and monthly KPIs

The first step is to measure current performance of weekly or monthly KPIs. We use this to set the baseline. We distinguish many main categories of performance: operational efficiency, quality (reliability) and productivity. We work together with our users to select an appropriate set of KPIs, to report and monitor performance. Logresult presents the results in clear graphs.

The data the platform uses to calculate KPIs, comes from many systems. We can create interfaces but a as quick and simple start, we offer an Excel interface to allow quick data entry. For most of our users, this enables a pragmatic start to quickly have insight on the performance per location, business unit and on aggregated level.

Example KPIs

Production

  • Overall Equipment Effectiveness
  • Quality ratio
  • Manufacturing cost per unit
  • Labor cost per unit

Warehousing

  • On-time In-full
  • Stock accuracy
  • Picking productivity
  • Average cost per unit

Distribution

  • On-time departure/ arrival
  • Damage/ claims ratio
  • Number of safety incidents
  • Truck fill rate

Planning (S&OP)

  • Forecast accuracy
  • Service level/ On-time-in-Full
  • Days Inventory On-hand
  • Complexity (products/ clients)

The best KPI’s are selected when taking “the voice of the customer” into account: what do you want to achieve in your business? It’s also important to avoid overkill and maybe start small. The emphasis should be on reporting and discussing frequently (weekly) and understanding the root causes of performance and cost.

2. Internal benchmark

Within your network (manufacturing, logistics, planning) Logresult offers an detailed method to gather the best improvement initiatives by operational benchmarking. It avoids a top-down x% improvement push, but rather allows a fact-based approach, by understanding differences and commonalities and learn from each other. This best practice sharing is a key element to set ambitions and to creates new improvement ideas. Maturity levels are measured periodically and you grow towards the “ideal state”. 3. Project management

The final step to create the continuous improvement way of working is by registering the continuous improvement projects that the teams are working on. What are the deliverables, timelines and team members, but also: what are the cost reductions that are being achieved? Logresult presents the projects (in each phase: idea, running and finalized) in a clear graphical way to allow you to quickly have overview of the status
